Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Particular Ltd is committed to making ZeroEgress accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
What we've implemented
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- ARIA labels on all interactive controls (buttons, toggles, file inputs)
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the application — all controls are reachable and operable via keyboard
- Skip-to-content link for keyboard users
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Toggle controls with
role="switch"andaria-checkedstate - Entity chips with
role="button"and keyboard event handlers - Color-coded entity tags use both color and text labels — not color alone
- Responsive layout that works on all screen sizes
- No auto-playing media or animations that cannot be paused
- Text content is scalable and reflows at larger font sizes
Known limitations
- Some color contrast ratios in the dark theme may not meet AAA standards for all text elements. We meet AA standards.
- The drag-and-drop file upload area requires mouse interaction, but the "Browse files" button provides an equivalent keyboard-accessible alternative.
- The annotated text output uses color-coded highlights. Entity type labels are provided alongside color to ensure information is not conveyed by color alone.
