Service description
ZeroEgress is a client-side document redaction tool provided by Particular Ltd ("we", "us"). The tool runs entirely in your browser. No document data is transmitted to our servers or any third party during processing.
Beta status
ZeroEgress is currently in beta. The service is provided free of charge during the beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future, with advance notice.
No warranty
ZeroEgress is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While the tool uses AI (Named Entity Recognition) to detect sensitive information, no automated system is 100% accurate. Specifically:
- The NER model has approximately 91% F1 accuracy. It may miss some entities or produce false positives.
- Human review of redaction results is strongly recommended before using redacted documents in any official capacity.
- The tool does not currently detect all HIPAA Safe Harbor identifier types (see documentation for details).
You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the completeness of any redaction before sharing or publishing documents.
Acceptable use
You may use ZeroEgress for any lawful purpose. You may not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the AI model weights or proprietary code.
Intellectual property
ZeroEgress and its architecture are protected by patent applications filed with the USPTO (patent allowed, all 30 claims). The ZeroEgress name and logo are trademarks of Particular Ltd.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Particular Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of ZeroEgress. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from incomplete redaction, missed entities, or reliance on automated detection without human review.

See our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect no data, set no cookies, and use no analytics.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of ZeroEgress after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa.
